Orca Coolers review
Whether you're tailgating, camping, hunting or fishing you need a cooler. For most of us not just any cooler will do. The cooler has to do its job and do it well, just like you. We had the chance to review the line of Orca Coolers in team colors to see if they performed as well as they looked.
As mentioned, Orca has their standard line of colors, but unlike the bulk of cooler companies out there they have eye catching team color collection to help you match your favorite team. We were sent the bright orange edition to test out. On first inspection it passes the eye test. Great colors, solid construction, easy to carry handles, tie downs, bear proof closing system, and even a storage pouch on the back!
Now lets fill this bad boy up with some ice and drinks and see what happens. We filled it up on a Saturday afternoon deep in the heart of Texas in preparation for the first weekend of college football and National Tailgating Day. The cooler was opened and closed all afternoon and maintained the ice and supreme coldness of the beverages throughout the day and night. I left the remaining ice and drinks in the cooler to check on them over the next few days. Over three days in and with numerous times opening the cooler it still registered an internal temperature of 36 degrees! Not too shabby.
PROS: great colors, solid construction, good 3 days worth of ice cold contents, and the cooler lid is the best cooler I've ever sat on. Its like they made the cooler lid to accommodate people sitting on top of it. (Not all coolers do this but I love sitting on top of a cooler)
CONS: great cooler that does its job. no cons seen at this time.
Overall, a solid cooler that will keep things cold and provide the best seat in the house!
